Death : Obituary; Former France, PSG defender Jean-Pierre Adams dies 39 years after falling into a coma

Jean-Pierre Adams Death: Obituary – Jean-Pierre Adams, 73, is a former France defender who died after almost 40-years of falling into a coma following a medical error.

His former club Paris Saint-Germain and Nimes announce this on Monday.

Adams was administered a near-fatal dose of anesthetic ahead of a knee operation, which caused brain damage in 1982.

Since the accident, Adams has been catered for by his wife.

Jean-Pierre Adams had won 22 caps for France’s national team in the 1970s.

Nimes Olympique wrote on Twitter: “This morning, we learned about the death of Jean-Pierre Adams. He played for Nimes on 84 occasions and alongside Marius Tresor, he formed the ‘Black guard’ in the French national team.”
