David Haselden Missing – Authorities seeks help in finding aged pensioner missing from Tonbridge on Tuesday.

David Haselden, 84 year-old pensioner has been reported missing from Tonbridge. He was said to have been seen last on Tuesday, August 17th 2021 leaving his home in the area.

According to reports, David was wearing hiking boots and carrying a bag pack, other details of his last clothing has not been giving.

The 84 year-old has been described as a White aged male who is approximately 5’7″ feet tall and is of slim build. He has grey hair and brown eyes.

Search teams began search for David as soon as he was reported missing, Police divers searched the murky waters of the River Medway in Tonbridge. They were also assisted by the Kent Search and Rescue and by divers from Specialist Group International, who provide underwater search and recovery expertise for police forces across the South, including Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley, Essex West Midlands and Hampshire.

Reports has it that there had been large police presence near Tonbridge Swimming Pool and New Wharf Road. A specialist search and rescue helicopter was also brought in and a team of divers have been seen in the river between the Tonbridge Canoe club and Tonbridge Castle.

Officers are now growing more concerned of the safety of the man as he is yet to be found. They are now seeking the public’s help in finding him.

A spokesperson said “Police officers are currently in the area of the River Medway in Tonbridge town center in connection with a search for a missing person.”

The family of the 84 year-old has expressed their concerned on his disappearance and pray he is found safe soon.

No Amber Alert has been issued yet for the missing David Haselden.
