Daniel Morcombe missing – When did Daniel Morcombe go missing?
The tragedy of the Daniel Morcombe, an Australian boy’s story started on December 7, 2003, when he was abducted from Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, at the age of 13. This was a hard time for the family of the missing boy as they did all they could to recover him, to no avail.
Daniel Morcombe killer, who killed daniel morcombe?
After a long search and serious investigations, it was discovered that Brett Peter Cowan, who was 34 years old as at 2003, when the abduction occurred, was actually the killer of the 13-year-old Cowan, a resident of Sunshine Coast, had abducted Morcombe, and killed him. This came to light 8 years after the disappearance of the missing teen.
He was convicted, charged and proven guilty of murder in March 2014, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Did they find Daniel Morcombe?
The remains of Morcombe were found on August 21, 2021, after a long search, authorities said seventeen bones had been found, including a rib, hip, leg, arm and vertebrae, these were taken for forensic check and a DNA test was carried out using the toothbrush of Morcombe to compare with the bones. This sadly showed that the bones belonged to Morcombe
How did Daniel Morcombe die?
There was no disclosure of hoe Morcombe died, this may have been due to the fact that only his bones were found and were all dry, which would obviously have made it difficult for a medical personnel to ascertain his cause of death.
