Clovis Richard Hodge Jr. death – obituary, cause of death : Clovis Richard Hodge Jr. 49, of Bartlett, Tennessee. Has died. He passed away on Wednesday, September 1st 2021.

Clovis was born on April 19th 1972 to Linda Hodge and Clovis Hodge, Sr. he was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. He had a calming presence and was extremely kind, he touched the hearts of so many, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him

He worked as an electrician for Midsouth Best Rentals. He was a loving husband who was best known for his infectious sense of humor and making everyone laugh. he was greatly admired for his athletic abilities in school and he passed his love and passion for sports down to all his children.

He was a proud and faithful member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. he had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it and his friends loved that about him. He was described by his friends as someone who was always ready for a laugh.

Richard loved nothing more than spending quality time with his family, supporting his family and making sure they were all looked after and taken care of. He was the Coach of his daughter’s Soccer Team.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jana Hodge sons, Lunden Carpenter; Trey Hodge; and his daughter Scarlett Hodge; his father Clovis Hodge, Sr. and his mother Linda Hodge; his brothers Marc Pachkes and Chad Hodge.

Cause of death:

The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report.

A visitation for Clovis will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 6205 Elmore Rd, Memphis, TN 38134. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6205 Elmore Rd, Memphis, TN 38134. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
