Mother of Manitoba man declared missing over a year ago pleas for the public’s help to find her son.
Mother of Christopher Peter Hawkins, Julie Hawkins has renewed her plea to the public to help find her son who she misses very well. She said in her plea “We miss him — his humor, honesty, and caring; his love of music and sharing his detailed knowledge of NHL hockey.”
Julie also said his cat Wendy sleeps in his bed till date hoping for him to return home.
“We are all praying for his safety and while we keep searching, we need the help of people who may know something to come forward to police.” Said Julie.
The 48 year-old who was known by Peter was last seen on Monday, May 29, 2020, walking towards a path leading to the Whiteshell Provincial Park after he alighted from a taxi he took from the RM of Ste. Anne to Betula Lake.
The area was searched by RCMP at the time but there where no clues found on the whereabouts of peter.
Hawkins is said to be 11 inches tall and weighs about 180 lbs, has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen, wearing a red T-shirt and grey pants.
The police has assured the family that they are doing their very best to find the missing 48 year-old from Manitoba.
