Chew Poh Yim, Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean’s wife and founder of stroke support charity, dies aged 67

According to reports, Ms. Chew Pow was married to Mr. Teo Chee Hean, they had two kids together, a son and a daughter, they also had a grandchild together. Ms. Chew Poh was the founder of a stroke support charity that held leadership roles during NTUC FairPrice and was the wife of a minister.

She graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. “In the different roles she took on, she was always thinking of the organization, the staff, and customers. From time to time, we would also share our views on various matters and on topical issues,” said Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean. Her family and friend miss her.

According to reports, her family conducted a private funeral on her behalf on Tuesday. The family wants donations to be made to S3, NUS Mind-Science Centre, Girl Guides Singapore, the NCCS Cancer Fund, and Assisi Hospice.
