One person has died and two others injured in two-vehicle crash that happened in Neosho County.
According to officials, the incident occurred in the southeastern corner of the state on Monday afternoon around 12 p.m.
The preliminary report revealed that the incident involved a semi and Honda on K-47 highway and Elk Road.
It was reported that a 2021 Honda Odyssey was travelling on the eastbound before it was crashed by Freightliner Semi-trailer when the van was trying to turn.
The passenger of the Honda identified as Charles Edward Greer, 71, of Humboldt died at the scene. While the driver identified as Carol Sue Hucke, 71, of Parson, sustained serious injuries.
Hucke and the driver of the semi; Caili Wen, 49, of Arcadia, Calif., were transported to Labette Health and Neosho Memorial Hospital respectively.
