Chandler Sikes Death – Obituary : 18-year-old Chandler Sikes, a local college student has died following injuries suffered from a four-vehicle accident that happened on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the intersection of Southwest and Brookhollow Drive around 12:03 p.m.
Sikes, of Powderly, Texas was pronounced dead on September 21, following the car accident. Sikes died of injuries sustained from the vehicle crash.
Chandler Sikes Car Accident – cause of death
According to report, a gold Honda Civic driven by 19-year-old Sebastian Ochoa of El Paso, Texas with 18-year-old Chandler Sikes, of Powderly, Texas as passenger was heading westbound on Southwest drive when it rear-ended a black Jeep Grand Cherokee driving in the same direction after failing to control speed.
The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to veer into an oncoming vehicle, Chevy Silverado. The Chevy Silverado travelling in the eastbound lane then crashed head-on with the Honda and the Chevy was then rear-ended by a grey Ford F150.
Both Sikes and Ochoa were college students at a local university wear not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Sikes suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while Ochoa was rushed to a local hospital with a cut on the face. Meanwhile three other drivers sustained minor injures.
