Dr. Carl Henry Makarewicz Life
Makarewicz was born on the 16th of April 1959 in St. Louis, Cottleville, Missouri to late Henry and Genevieve Makarewicz. He attended Logan University and he was a chiropractor. He passed away on Tuesday, 24th of August 2021 at age 62. He was a music teacher and trumpet player.
He is fondly remembered for his service as a teacher and a healer. He was dearly loved and got himself many nicknames King Carl” “Chuck” “Cardoo” “Cardolic Polish for Carl” and “Curly Carl.” He will sure be deeply missed.
He is survived by: Pam Makarewicz (nee Ramshaw); devoted father of Cecylia (Tim Keough) Makarewicz and Nick (Catherine) Makarewicz; dear brother of Mary Ann Marx, Leo (Linda) Makarewicz, Mark C. Makarewicz, Millie (Ben) Pagtanac, Theresa (Mark) Siegel, Judith Hayek, Joan Setchfield, Paul (Carmen) Makarewicz, Connie Makarewicz, Tom Makarewicz, Suzanne Renard and James Makarewicz; brother-in-law of Catherine (Jeffery) Boldt, Stephanie (Randy) Buxton, Casey (Sue) Ramshaw, Pat (Sandy) Ramshaw and Loretta Ramshaw (mother-in-law). Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Mass: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Cottleville, MO

Immediately following funeral mass, a Traditional Polish luncheon will be held at the St Joseph’s Parish Hall till 4:30.
The Makarewicz family asks that everyone wear red and white in celebration of Carl’s Polish heritage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carl’s name to St Joseph’s School Band, Cottleville, MO.
