14-year-old, Caitlin Winchester, A North Atlanta High School student, who was reported missing has been found safe in Arlington, Texas.
Winchester was last seen on Thursday, August 5, 2021, which got her family worried as she didn’t return from school. The school was alerted and measures were taken to find her; Such as Facebook groups being created, and missing person flyers were sent out by the school.
On the other hand the FBI joined the search with Atlanta Police Department. and a $100,000 reward was offered for her return.
The intensity of the search lead to the discovery of a 23-year-old man harboring Caitlin Winchester, who was later arrested on Tuesday, August 10, night in Arlington and charged with harboring the teen, according to Dallas Morning News.
She was confirmed found by the police department for Atlanta Public Schools in a statement on Wednesday morning.
“The family has been notified and has requested privacy at this time,” said the police spokesperson.
