Brylee Walker, Lindsay Thompkins Died In Muddy Creek Township Two-Car Accident

Aliquippa High School Alumnus, Lindsay Thompkins Dies In Butler County Two-Car Accident 

14-year-old Brylee Walker, of Hermitage, Mercer County and 31-year-old Lindsay Thompkins, of Aliquippa have died in a two car accident that happened on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.

According to officials, the deadly crash happened on I-79, near mile marker 96.6 when a bus conveying 13 students home from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, Beaver County rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Walker who was a passenger in the bus and Thompkins who was the driver of the bus sustained serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Thompkins was Aliquippa High School alumnus. He left behind his wife and two children; aged 2 and 9.

Two girls from Jamestown, Mercer County aged 13 and 17 were airlifted with serious injuries to Pittsburgh hospitals, but they have been listed to be in stable condition.  While a 14-year-old Slippery Rock girl and a 15-year-old Volant girl were both transported via ambulance with minor injuries to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

On the other hand, the tractor-trailer driver and a passenger were not hurt.
