Brentwood murder investigation: Boys killed were 16, MP says
Eight Murder Arrests After Teenage Boys Die
According to an MP, the two boys whose deaths occurred at the center of a murder investigation have been discovered to be 16. Three people were recovered wounded in Regency Court, Brentwood, Essex, at about 01:30 BST on Sunday, but two of them died.
Eight men have been apprehended on suspicion of murder, and police are still at the scene investigating the matter. Brentwood and Ongar’s Conservative MP, Alex Burghart, said the teenagers’ deaths had “shaken” the community.
The BBC said the boys are suspected to have suffered stab injuries but police have not yet confirmed this officially. Floral tributes are piling up in the area and a book of condolence have been opened at St Thomas’s Church.
