Brain Cancer Sadly Led to Anchor Jovita Moore’s death

On Thursday, October 28, 2021, 53-year-old Jovita Moore, Channel 2 Action News anchor, finally passed away on due to a seven months fight with brain cancer.

WSB-TV announced the death of the great icon, “It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Channel 2′s Jovita Moore.” This sad news has broken the hearts of many especially those who constantly prayed she recovers from the brain cancer she was diagnosed with seven months ago.

Who is Jovita Moore?

She is a news anchor who started her carrier in Arkansas, in 1990, she worked with Channel 2 Action News since 1998 and anchored the evening and 11 p.m. newscasts.

Anchor Jovita Moore’s Cause of death 

Brain cancer is becoming too rampant these days but the case Moore was critical as she had an initial brain surgery in April but  in July she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, which grew with time as it was unnoticed, during or before the first surgery, this diagnoses dashed the hopes of her family who were hoping she would recover

“It’s significant,” she said at that time. “It’s gonna be a lot. Two little tumors kind of near each other, and they got to go. We had to start than having a conversation about what that was and what that meant.” Said Anchor Jovita Moore.

The past seven months have been a hard one for Moore as she fought every single day for her life until she finally decided to give up. Her family, friends and fans are paying tributes on social media:
