Harrisonburg two-vehicle crash- A fatal a two-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon, around 2:12 p.m. on Ramblewoood Road, claimed the life of a little boy and injured three other.

According to report, a man identified as Tony Nolasco, 41, of the 2200 block of Ramblewood Road in Harrisonburg, was driving when his vehicle went into another lane, and hit head-on with another vehicle.

Authorities reported that Nolasco was driving under influence of alcohol when he crashed into the vehicle that was carrying a 7-year-old boy and three other persons.

The child and the three other persons were rushed to Sentara RMH Medical Center where the boy later succumbed to his injuries.

The identity of the little child has not been disclosed at the moment.

Harrisonburg police reported that Nolasco veered off from the scene, struck his vehicle nearby on Stone Spring Road and left on foot.

The police reported to have arrested and held him at the Rockingham County Jail. Nolasco is charged with aggravated DUI manslaughter and felony hit and run.
