Boy 15, Dead, Suspect Charged In Fridley Shooting

Anthony Joseph Rouse Death – Obituary : The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a 15-year-old Anthony Joseph Rouse has died on Tuesday from injuries sustained from gunshots on Sunday.

Fridley police responded to a report from Mercy Hospital-Unity Campus at about 7:05 p.m., Sunday, that a 15-year-old boy identified Anthony Joseph Rouse, from Blaine had shown up with a gunshot wound, he was reported to be in critical condition.

Officers believe the shooting had taken place at the 6000 block of Main Street in Fridley.
A 17-year-old unidentified boy has been taken into custody and charged with five felonies, two counts of second-degree murder and one count each of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and first-degree attempted aggravated robbery.

The Anoka County Attorney’s Office is on the quest to have the suspect arraigned before the court as an adult. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday.

The investigation is reportedly still ongoing.
