Nevaeh Allen missing – Step father of Baton rouge toddler found dead in Mississippi, arrested for her disappearance.
Baton rouge toddler, Nevaeh Allen, 2-year-old who was reported missing, for days was found dead on Sunday, in the Log town area of Hancock County, a remote area of Mississippi.
The toddler was last seen on Friday, when her stepfather Phillip Gardner who is the major suspect, put her to sleep, at an apartment complex, on La Belle Avenue, in the Ballaire neighborhood.
Lanaya Cardwell, Allen’s mum had reportedly left the toddler and other children with her leave-in boyfriend.
Nevaeh Allen cause of death
Authorities are still investigating the death of the missing toddler, as her body has been taken for an autopsy, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
The actions of the Gardner made authorities believe he has a hand in the death of the toddler, as he had disposed of the body. The suspect is being held for unlawful disposal of remains and obstruction of justice.
Though the parents of 30-year-old, Gardner, are insisting he doesn’t have a hand in the death of the toddler, Sheriffs are still holding strong to their findings.
