Body Found – In a search for a missing person a yet to be identified body was found by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department.
A body has been found in Bartholomew County Road by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department.
According to reports, on Friday, September 10th 2021 during a search for a missing person whose identity has not been given the police found a body buried in a shallow grave in Bartholomew County Road 400N between U.S. 31 and River Road.
The police were said to have left the road on a close up during the search.
Multiple sources said the body has been taken for further examination and autopsy.
The Sheriff’s detectives, Columbus police, Indiana State Police and the coroner’s office all helped in the search for the missing person.
The Bartholomew County Coroner’s office used resources and manpower from other agencies in the search.
The identity of the person is still unknown this post will be updated as soon as there is more information.
