Body Found Lake Worth – Body Found – Cause of Death – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office discovered human remains.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – The body was discovered on Thursday by investigators with the PBSO, and it was found buried in the backyard of a home located in the 400 block of Selberg Lane in Lake Worth Beach.

Residents on Selberg Lane said Officials first arrived on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, PBSO’s cold case squad was joined by anthropology students from Florida Gulf Coast University. They set up tents and started digging.

Later in midafternoon a wheeled stretcher was wheeled out with remains of a body on it. Investigators confirmed the body was found buried in the backyard.

Officials have not indicated the identity of the remains or what condition they’re in. They have not said if they believe a crime was committed.

They also have not said what led them to the house in the first place, They only said “they received information that there could be human remains buried in the backyard.”

The medical examiner took possession of the remains. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
