Bob Shipley dead and Obituary – Bob Shipley is in his first season as a football analyst with Texas Player Personnel. Shipley is the former athletics director and head football coach at Texas High School, where he will assist in coordinating and implementing the day-to-day operational, administrative and logistical processes within the football program. Among other responsibilities, he will coordinate walking programs, support the planning and execution of the annual high school coaching clinic and summer football camp, and assist with high school relations.

Shipley and his wife Sharon have four children, including former UT All-American and NFL wide receiver Jordan Shipley and current UT junior wide receiver Jaxon Shipley, and two daughters, Shelby and Addie Jane.

Sharon Shipley dead, Body found in Kirby Lake identified
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a woman who voluntarily left a treatment facility and was last seen near a lake where a body was found.

The body found Monday in Kirby Lake has been identified as Sharon Shipley, according to the Abilene Police Department.APD officers responded to Kirby Lake West Monday morning to help find the missing person. After an extensive search, game rangers at Texas Parks and Wildlife recovered Shipley’s body from the lake.
A death investigation will be completed and Shipley’s body will be sent for an autopsy. A body was found in Kirby Lake on Monday when law enforcement officers searched Kirby Lake for a woman who was last seen there.

According to a news release from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, it received a report that a woman named Sharon Shipley had voluntarily left a treatment facility in Taylor County and went missing.

The TCSO investigation revealed that the woman was last seen at Kirby Lake.

Shipley remains unaccounted for at this time, according to the press release. She is 55 years old, white, 5’5″, 112 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

As of 4:45 p.m., the identity of the body found in the lake had not been confirmed. on Monday.

The Abilene Police Department is assisting TCSO at the scene.
