Bethany Jones and Sophia Jones Missing – What happened to this sisters?

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for 8-year-old Bethany Jones and 7-year-old Sophia Jones, who were last seen with their parents, and the police believe the children are in danger.

The girls were last seen with Trisha and Towon Jones on October 26 leaving Colorado in either a 2019 black Toyota 4Runner with Colorado plate: BVGI94 or 2014 green Toyota Sienna with Colorado plate: CGMO17.

Investigators with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said they had a court order from the Department of Human Services to remove the children from the home earlier this week.

The parents fled to New Mexico to Raton, where they spent the night at a hotel, but law enforcement got involved and the parents left their eldest 14-year-old daughter and took the two younger girls back to Denver.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the family was in the north Denver area at 2:22 p.m. on Wednesday October 27, after a cell phone tower pinged one of their phones. Investigators don’t have specifics on exactly where in north Denver they were at that time.
