Oil tanker crashed into car and building in Highlands village

According to report, an oil tanker crashed into a car and in a Highlands village on Thursday, 16 September, 2021 at about 12:45 p.m.

A statement released by authorities confirmed that the tanker crashed in vacant building at the Square in Beauly’s High Street. The driver of the vehicle is said to have lost control of the vehicle before crashing into the car and building

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said two people in the lorry’s cab self extricated themselves from the vehicle and one was assisted by firefighters and treated by paramedics while another walked away from the accident accident

Operations control deployed three appliances and specialist resources to the scene of the crash.

The condition of those involved remain unknown.
