Froylan Carranza-Gomez Death – Obituary : Idaho State Police have identified Froylan Carranza-Gomez, 48, of Twin Falls, as the man that was killed on Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash that occurred east of Jerome on U.S. Highway 93.

According to report, Carranza-Gomez was travelling south in a Dodge Neon when he left his lane and crossed to the northbound lanes where the driver of a Kia Forte, Casey Lockyer veered of his lane the same time Carranza-Gomez was trying to get back to his lane. Unfortunately, both vehicles collided.

Carranza-Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Kia, Casey Lockyer, 31, of Shoshone had two teenagers as passengers. Locker and one of the teenagers where airlifted to a Boise hospital while other other teen was taken to an area hospital.

According to reports, occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
