At least 12 injured in head-on collision
At least twelve people have sustained injuries after a bus crashed into an underpass column at a Bronx prepare station on Thursday
The collision occurred at about 11:00 a.m. on the Woodland station on Jerome Avenue.
A video of the the collision shows two vehicles, one within the inside lane and one within the outdoors lane. The car on the surface lane could be seen reducing over, throwing the second care into the trail of an oncoming bus.
The bus then swerve off to the facet and uncontrollably into a subway assist pillar.
According report, the bus was a Beeline bus from Westchester County. The Westchester County Government’s Workplace said there were 13 individuals on board who suffered minor injuries.
The driver on the outdoor lane said he did not see the car on the inside line while changing lanes.
