Authorities said 17-year-old Antonio Lavelle Sims has been charged Monday in connection to the shooting death of a woman on 19th Aug, according to reports.
Sims was arraigned before the 19th District Court in Dearborn, on charges of first-degree murder and a felony firearm charge, police said.
He is been held on a $1 million bond and a probable cause conference in the case against him has been scheduled by a judge for 1st October, according to reports.
Sims was arrested on Friday by the U.S Marshalls and the Dearborn Police.
Officials responded to the 20000 block of Michigan Avenue near Evergreen Road on the 29th Aug. on a shooting report.
Police said the suspect later identified as Sims fled the scene before police arrival.
Arriving officers located an 18-year-old woman suffering from gunshot injuries. She was transported to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, according to police.
