Antonio Hernandez Death – A bond for a 23-year-old man identified as Miguel A. Andrade, involved in the fata shooting of  Hernandez has been set at $3 million.

Antonio Hernandez was shot and killed in a gun battle south of the Kankakee County Courthouse. Andrade charged with murder and possession of a stolen firearm.

What exactly happened – What caused the shooting?

According to report, Miguel A. Andrade’s cousin identified as Victor Andrade, was a former member of Latin Kings. The deceased, Antonio Hernandez was a current member of the gang.

On Thursday, around 9:45 a.m., Miguel, his cousin Victor and a man who was in his late 20s were ambushed by Hernandez when they entered a parking lot south of the courthouse.

Hernandez who was reported to had been in possession of multiple weapons walked up to the trio and opened fire on them.

Victor was the target for the shooting. Passwater reported that there were internal issues with the gang before the shooting happened. The shooting occurred following a court appearance by Victor on an unrelated case.

Victor was hit multiple times, according to Passwater. The third man was also shot.

Miguel Andrade ran to their vehicle, grabbed a rifle and ran after Hernandez in what Passwater said last week was a running gun battle between the men.

Miguel surrendered after he shot and bludgeoned Hernandez to death, police say.

Miguel will be in Kankakee County court Thursday for a hearing to reduce his bond.
