Angelo Carlo Chendi Death – Obituary – Angelo Carlo Chendi an Italian cartoonist one of the most famous and prolific screenwriters of Disney Italia has died.
Carlo died on the 12th of September 2021, the cause of death has not been announced to the public yet. Angelo died at the age of 88.
He moved at a young age from Ferrara to Rapallo, Liguria. This was where he began his career as a cartoonist.
Together with Maestro Luciano Bottaro and his friend Giorgio Rebuffi, becoming one of the pillars of the so-called School of Rapallo. He founded the Bierrecì group in 1968.
From 1962, Chendi has written has created many Disney characters and has written hundreds of stories.
Some of the parodied he created are as follows; Doctor Paperus (1958), Donald Duck and Treasure Island (1959), Donald the Paladin (1960), Donald Bob Finger mission (1966).
He created memorable characters: Ok Quack, Hazelnut, and Umperio Bogarto.
