Accident in Logan Township, at least 3 injured

UPDATE: The roadway is now open in the area of 17th Street and Valley View Boulevard.

The Logan Township Police Department said the road was shut down for several hours.

A witness reportedly told police they witnessed one of the cars run a red light going down 17th Street, causing the crash. Speed may also be a factor, they said.

More details are still to come as police continue their investigation.

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Logan Township Police Department is asking motorists to stay clear of the 17th Street, Valley View Boulevard area after a motor vehicle accident.

East and westbound lanes of traffic are shut down from Valley View Boulevard to McMahon Road. Police said the area should be avoided for at least two hours.

According to Logan Township police, two vehicles were involved and at least three people were injured. The crash is still under investigation by Logan Township police and Pennsylvania State Police.
