Aaron McGeorge missing – Marquette township man missing near Hogback Mountain found dead
We had reported the missing person case of 40-year-old Aaron McGeorge earlier with hopes that he’ll be found safe.
Sadly the police have announced that the 40-year-old has been found dead.
Where was the body of Aaron McGeorge found?
Report from the Marquette County Sheriff’s department says that the body was found on Thursday, at about 11:30am, on the eastside of County Road 550, north of Sugarloaf mountain, about 200 yards from the spot where his truck had been initially found.

Conclusions haven’t been drawn yet about his cause of death as the body has been taken to the Marquette County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy that will determine his cause of death. But officers through the state the body was found, believe he died of injuries after falling from a rock cliff.
The difficult search ended in sorrow as the family of the deceased has been informed about the recent developments and police have thanked the public in a statement; “For the families and friends of the subject, you always want to do your best and try your hardest to locate them and unfortunately in this instance, he was found deceased, but I personally, and our office, want to thank all the volunteers with search and rescue and the other agencies that helped our agency,” said Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt.
