6 children and one adult injured after being hit by car in Ardingly College car park in West Sussex

According to report, six children and one parent have been hospitalized following injuries sustained in Ardingly College car park accident.

The crash which involved a blue Tesla occurred at a “holiday camp pick-up” within the school grounds on Monday around 4:30 p.m. according to headteacher Ben Figgis

One of the children; an eight-year-old boy who was allegedly trapped underneath the electric car was airlifted by ambulance to St George’s Hospital in London with major injuries while five other children and the adult were take by road to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

A 47-year-old woman, driver of the Tesla, was not hurt in the collision.

The Tesla was removed from the scene by a recovery vehicle.

Investigation into the crash is ongoing by Sussex Police.
