The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office have disclosed a child who was accidentally shot in the stomach is expected to make a full recovery soon.
Deputies stated the 4-year-old boy was transported to the hospital after been shot accidentally in a home Saturday afternoon.
Deputies disclose the boy is in a stable condition.
The father of the child, Jason Gilliam, of Quincy, was reportedly arrested on felony charges of child endangerment and criminal storage of a firearm.
The sheriff’s office disclosed Jason Gilliam is being held with a $50,000 bail.
