A 34-year-old Butte man has been confirmed dead in a fatal vehicle crash that happened on Sunday morning around 1 a.m. in Bozeman.

According to the officials, the police received a call and dispatched troopers to the junction of West Main Street and West College Street where the single-vehicle incident occurred.

The Authorities stated that the vehicle was on fire at the time they arrived the scene.

It was reported that the man driving a Subaru Legacy was heading down when his vehicle went off road and crashed.

The driver was pulled from his vehicle and was given a CPR by bystanders and Bozeman.

He was later rushed to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities reported that alcohol and speed are believed to be the cause of the crash.

The identity of the man is yet to be released pending when next of kin is notified.

The incident is still under Bozeman police investigation.
