Woman dies, man hospitalised following a fatal north Kelowna multi-vehicle accident
At least one person had died following a fatal multi-vehicle accident on Highway 97 in north Kelowna.
On Monday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m. the officials reported to the highway near Duck Lake regarding the accident.
According to initial report, a green Chevrolet SUV driven by a 36-year-old man was moving south when it veered to the centre line and hit a black Dodge pick-up.
Authorities stated that two other vehicles were also crashed.
The SUV passenger, a 30-year-old woman, died at the scene while the driver was moved to hospital with serious injuries.
The identity of the deceased is not disclosed yet pending notification of next of kin.
No other person sustained injuries from the crash.
