29 Year-Old Detroit Man Shot Dead, Suspect Arrested

The Authorities have on Monday reported the demise of a 29 year-old Detroit man who was reportedly shot at Madison Heights Motel
According to the police, Officials were alerted for noise disturbance at the Rodeway Inn that is located on the Stephenson Highway close to 14 Mile at about 5:20 a.m.

The officers on arrival were directed to a room, after a thorough search they found the body of man with an ostensible gunshot wound to the Abdominal segment of the Trunk [torso] lying on the corner of the motel room.

A 20-year-old Detroit man was reported to have been residing with the deceased at the motel, although the man was not at the crime scene when the Police arrived, the officers searched the nearby parameters for him.

The police revealed they caught him hiding under a Dumpster at a Gas Station located at 14 Mile on Stephenson Highway, he has been arrested and a Handgun believed to be the one used in the shooting was recovered.

The name of the victim and suspect are yet to be revealed by the Police as investigations are still ongoing.
