28-Year-Old Warsaw Man Has Been Shot To Death, Suspect Arrested

The Benton County Central Dispatch reported to have received a call from an unidentified man, stating that a middle-aged man entered the rear seat of his truck and ordered him to drive revealing that he has been shot.

The assailant was reported to have continued firing at the Truck as it finds its way out of the scene.

The victim, Lance M. Lyman, 28, from Warsaw, passed away while being conveyed by truck to the Warsaw Ambulance Base where he would have been life-flighted.

Due to the uncertain origin of the incident and limited number of staffs, The assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol [MSHP] Swat team was requested by the Benton county Sheriff’s office.

Deputies and Swat teams has reported to the scene of the shooting at the end of Clearwater Road near Warsaw and has made attempts to get contact with the alleged shooter.

According to reports, some witnesses has revealed that the suspect attacked an unidentified woman and Lyman tried to intervene, Then the suspect began shooting at Lyman.

The suspect has been booked into the Benton County Jail.
