According to Rochester police, a man,28, was fatally shot in Rochester Monday afternoon.
Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department disclosed officials responded to Harris Street, near Avenue C, just before 5:15 p.m. on shots fired reports.
The 28-year-old man arrived at Rochester General Hospital with multiple gun shot wounds, on a private vehicle at the same time, police say.
Authorities disclosed the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving to the hospital.
Authorities are yet to disclose the identity of the man pending families notification, reports states.
Authorities are currently investing what motivated the shooting and also to identify a possible suspect.
At about 11:40 p.m. same day, two men in their 30s were shot on Sherman and Angle streets in Rochester, said Rochester Police Lt. Kara Anglin. One man was shot in the upper body and suffered life-threatening injuries, According to reports.
Both injured men were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
