19-year-old Calamvale man killed in Cedar Vale, south of Brisbane car crash
The fatal crash that occurred on Father’s Day at the Cedar Vale, south of Brisbane has left one dead and two others sent to the hospital.
The accident happened on Sunday, September 5, 2021 around 11:00 a.m. when a 19-year-old man from Calamvale was travelling on Mount Lindesay Highway in a white Mitsubishi Triton when it ran into a Toyota Landcruiser travelling in the opposite direction.
The 19-year-old Calamvale man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while the 54-year-old man who was a passenger in the teenager’s vehicle was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Landcruiser, 56-year-old man was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, his 53-year-old female passenger was taken to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
